| Pope John Paul II, greeting the faithful at San Fernando Cathedral in 1987 | |
|
THE LONG RANGE VISION for John Paul II is one in which as many as 500 students will study, learn, play and share their lives of faith on a fully developed campus of 68 acres. THE VISION reaches well beyond land and buildings to seeing the lives of young people transformed and supported in a thoroughly Catholic intellectual and social environment – one in which each child is honored for his or her gifts and the entire educational process is integrated through a focus on the Church’s spiritual, intellectual, cultural and social heritage. “In establishing John Paul II Catholic High School, we are committing ourselves to providing a college preparatory education in a setting of faithful spiritual formation. John Paul II has an environment where the teaching of the Catholic faith is honored throughout our curriculum and extracurricular activities. This is what our families want, and this is what we deliver." |
The school campus consists of two areas: |
• Classical Education/Great Books Approach to the Humanities • • Co-instructional Educational Model • • A full campus environment located to serve northeast families • • A full high school program of arts, athletics,
