Athletics at John Paul II

Our belief in athletics is the same as our belief in extra-curriculars: young people should have a non-academic activity that helps form the pursuit of excellence. Just as importantly, all activities in the school will support our core mission, forming young people in Christ.

In 2010-2011, the school will offer the following athletics teams:

FALL: six-man football, volleyball, cross country, and golf
WINTER: basketball and swimming
SPRING: golf, tennis, and track.

Soccer, baseball, and softball will be added when the numbers allow.  Soccer and baseball are likely in 2010-2011.

The school is a member of TAPPS (Texas Assoc. of Private and Parochial Schools); in 2010-2011, volleyball and basketball teams are members of a varsity district league.
