Technology at John Paul II

The components will be:

a fully wireless environment in the school
 laptops for students and teachers
 LCD projectors in every classroom
•  school web portal for updated progress reports, assignments, and course materials
•  assignments to be completed using technology

We believe, within technology, that our resources are best used in one important way: consistent and wide access to all students.  At times, schools have spent lots of money on labs and software, but then those rooms have a limited amount of time for each class and teacher.  As a result, the difficulty in planning makes it hard for teachers to give their students level of technology integration that sustains full mastery.

We believe that this is simply corrected: laptops, enough for consistent and full access in the classroom environment.  With quality rising and prices falling for laptops and wireless access, we believe that this will be a simple remedy to this common problem.

Macbooks in use
In 2009-2010, we have a one-to-one ratio of Macbooks-to-students; our network and computers are in use every day!
