Graduation Requirements

To graduate from John Paul II, a student must pass each course in the curriculum.  Each student must complete the following requirements:

28 credits
   Four years required in:
     Theology                         (4)
     Mathematics *                (4)
     Science **                       (4)
     Social Studies ***          (4)
     English Language Arts  (4)
   Three years required in:
     Foreign Language          (3)
         Latin or Spanish

     PE or athletics                (1½)
     Health                              (½)
     Technology                      (1)
     Fine arts                           (1)
     Electives **                      (1)
        ** This can include a ½ credit Senior Project.

* Math courses must include Algebra, Geometry, and Algebra II.
** Science courses must include Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.
*** Social Studies courses must include Economics, Government, World History, U.S. History, and Global Studies.
